Allow me to reintroduce myself…

Chance are if you are reading this, you know who I am. If you don’t, a quick browse at my introduction page will give you an idea. This page is primarily to document and share my journey as I train and prepare both physically and mentally for a half-marathon in early October. It’s going to be difficult, frustrating and a challenge I must not give up on. I am not absolutely new to running; I have a 5k and two 10ks under my belt, and by the time the half comes around, I will have run in at least three more races. Having said that, I have a long way to go.

This blog will hopefully serve three purposes:

  1. Keep me accountable
  2. Inspire those who need an extra push to get out and go
  3. Sprinkle in some fun during what will be the greatest physical challenge I’ve faced yet.
